Dream Big

Often in our culture, the word "Vision" is thrown around and used differently by people. I am a huge fan of the writings of Andy Stanley and highly recommend the book "Visioneering" to anyone who wants to develop and maintain a vision for their life.

Honestly folks, I don't want to come to the end of my life and look back and wonder. Wonder what I could have done if I had done it that way, or what I should have done. I don't want to look back at my life at the age of 70 (Lord willing) and think "Did my life really matter? Did I make an impact on people for the kingdom of God?"

I want to be a man who finishes my course well. Who runs the race with integrity and doesn't quit. I want to be a man of vision. God ordained vision. I want to be man with motivation and purpose. And let's face it, those folks who have a God ordained vision are the ones who are motivated. Look at our churches today. The ones that are dying are the ones that the Pastors have decided to "get by" with what they are doing. However, those that God is using in a mighty way are the ones who have a vision, they are the ones who are motivated and are passionate about fulfilling that vision.

Something big is brewing on the horizon for Jason Gaston. I am beginning to see the vision for my life a little more clearer. I know that God is planting in me a vision to reach the multitudes and I'll do whatever it takes to do so without sacrificing the truths of the Gospel. I am expectant of that. I am passionate about that. I want to have the clear vision of God for my life. Do you?
